We’ve moved! 

Assalamu'alaikum, hi everyone!

After two years of calling lolukis.store home, Lolukis has officially moved into a brand new little corner of the internet: lolukis.com!

If you’ve been with me since the beginning, thank you. 🥹 You’ve probably watched Lolukis grow from a tiny online shop with just 5 stickers on sale into the little world of illustrated Islamic gifts, stationery and happy things that it is today.

And now, that little world has a new home inshaAllah. 🏡

So… why did I move?

Well, there are actually a couple of reasons!

For starters, I’ve been trying to be more intentional about where I spend Lolukis’ money. That includes doing what I can to support businesses and services that align more closely with my values, and reconsidering some of the platforms I’ve used in the past.

My Wix subscription was finally coming to an end, so it felt like a good time to reassess whether I still wanted to stay there — and ultimately, I decided it was time for a change.

I also wanted a website that felt lighter and more user-friendly. The old site served us well (she was there from day one!), but as Lolukis grew, I wanted something that would integrate better with local payment options, feel more responsive and give me a little more flexibility with how the site looks and works.

So I thought, okay, time for a fresh start. Something cleaner, easier to browse and hopefully a little more “ooh, cute!” and a little less “wait, where do I find this?” 😅

And since I was already rebuilding the whole website from scratch, I figured… why not make the address simpler while I’m at it?

lolukis.com is shorter, easier to remember and, honestly, just makes more sense. One little word, no extra “.store”, less to type and less to forget. Plus, I've come to realise a .com is much cheaper too (I wonder if it's because it's so common 🤔). 

Could I have kept the old domain and simply moved the website somewhere else? Sure! But since I was already giving Lolukis a complete makeover, I figured I might as well give it a simpler address too.

So here we are. New website, new address, same Lolukis. 🤍

The address may have changed, but the heart of Lolukis hasn’t. 🤍

I’m still here making cute, whimsical and meaningful things inspired by my deen — from illustrated stationery and Islamic gifts to little reminders that hopefully sprinkle some deen into your day.

But I also wanted this new website to be more than just a place to shop.

I’m finally giving the blog some love! 👀

InshaAllah, you’ll be seeing more articles, reflections, creative resources and other little bits and bobs popping up here every once in a while.

But I think this space will also hold something a little more personal.

Lolukis started from a very personal place for me.

I fell in love with my deen at 34, after returning from Umrah, and in many ways, Lolukis has been part of what came after — my attempt to weave my faith into the things I create, while also growing in my own journey.

I’ve always wanted the things I make to be more than just cute things to buy. I want them to be meaningful keepsakes, little reminders, and perhaps even a small source of joy or reflection for someone else.

But Lolukis has also been a source of growth for me. A lot of what I create comes from things I’m learning, relearning and reflecting on as I navigate what it means to rediscover my deen as an adult.

So I want this little corner of the internet to hold that side of Lolukis too.

Not as someone who has all the answers — cuz I very much don’t 😅 — but as someone who is still learning, and would love to share a little of that journey along the way. 🤍

There’ll still be plenty of cute stationery, of course, inshaAllah.  But hopefully, there’ll also be a little more of the thoughts, lessons and discoveries that make Lolukis what it is.

But hopefully, you’ll find it a little easier to navigate, a little nicer to look at and very much still Lolukis.
